Under Thai Laws, husband and wife are allowed to enter into a prenuptial agreement to establish their intentions regarding asset distribution. Without such an agreement, assets acquired during the marriage will be considered joint property, even if registered in one spouse’s name.

For example, real estate acquired during the marriage may be designated as the individual property of each party, bank account funds will remain the separate property of each party, and property registered in one person’s name will remain the sole ownership of the registered party. - English or Thai original language. (THB 3,500 for English and Thai original languages)
